The rules of the road. Short and fair.
1. Free to use
All ToolLove tools are free for personal and commercial use. No account, no payment, no watermark.
2. Provided as-is
Tools are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We work hard to keep everything accurate and reliable, but we can't guarantee any tool will be error-free or uninterrupted. Always keep a backup of important files before processing them.
3. Your files, your responsibility
- Only upload files you own or have the right to process.
- Don't use our tools for anything illegal — including removing protection from documents you don't own or have no permission to modify.
- You're responsible for the content you process. We don't review it, and we don't want to.
4. Fair use
To keep the service fast for everyone, we apply reasonable limits: per-file size caps and request rate limits. Automated scraping, bulk abuse, or attempts to disrupt the service may get your IP temporarily blocked.
5. Server-processed files
Files sent to our server tools (PDF Protect, PDF Unlock, Markdown → PDF) are handled as described in our Privacy Policy: processed, then automatically deleted. We are not liable for files you choose to upload.
6. Changes
We may update these terms or any tool at any time. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
